Hagen (Sverdrups Yvon) = Best in Group-2

Out of 172 dogs in Group competition took Judge Mrs. C. Steidel, America, Hagen as number 2!

We are very pleased and proud – as it is the first time a Fauve is placed in the Group in Australia

Sverdrups Vergile (Buster) = TOP BASSET FAUVE DE BRETAGNE IN IRELAND 2010

09-05-2011: At Birmingham National Show, Sverdrups Vergile (Buster) won Open Dog Class and got the Reserve CC – Judge Mrs. Jean McDonald Ulliot

The first litter of Basset Fauve de Bretagne is now born in Portugal at Kennel Casal DOS Choupos, Mafalda Ferreira Marques

Now Alain found a good home. He moved to Svendborg, where Walter also lives. Alain is now called Luffe.

Sverdrup Yvon (now called Hagen) is now on his way to Australia - delivered on Tuesday 18-01-2011 at Copenhagen Airport

and now Hagen has a long flight of 25 hours.

- Hagen did the trip just fine, he jumped out of the cage in the airport and was all over, before he was transported to the quarantine station in Melbourne.

On 20-01-2011 in the morning Katherine Wishart and her son Lachlan was finally allowed to visit Hagen, and it was love at the first sight.LytLæs fonetisk

Sverdrups Tara is Portuguese Champion and at Basset Klubben Very Special Show 2010 Tara was also Danish Champion

Yves’s new home is in Portugal, with Sverdrups Tara and Sverdrups Vita

Summer 2007

Summer 2007 is now over. It has been quite a special summer for us, however, we are finaly on the “net” again.

In the beginning of the summer, we were stricken by lightning. This cost us most of our chimney, two televisions, a radio and naturally our pc. Rebuilding our pc has been a slow process, however, we are now back on track again with our web-site.

Mona has had a bad back since last April and therefore we had to drop quite a few dog shows. Fortunately VSS was within our reaching distance. It is not such a long trip for us to drive to Bramminge. Our compliments to the members of the board and the show-comitee. Viviane was placed BIM on Saturday so all in all, it was a good weekend.

The Vejen-shows was even closer, so we were also able to participate. It was a really good weekend. Viviane was BIR on Saturday and Questa was BIM on Sunday.

Unfortunately we have had to say our goodbyes with some of our dogs. Charterman had a discusprolaps and despite treatment with acupuncture, we could not cure him. Charterman was only 7 years old. Recently, old Geraldine – age 15½ years – began to slow down. With recommendation from our vet, we decided that she should have peace. It has been very hard to loose two dogs within a few months. We now only have one hound and Norbert – age 12 years – is our oldest representative.
